Woollam Foundation Joins the Bundy Hill Challenge

By February 11, 2016 No Comments

The J. A. Woollam Foundation has become the latest to join the Bundy Hill land acquisition project, with a $5,000 dollar for dollar matching challenge. They have agreed to match all contributions to the project (pledges do not count) received by June 30, 2016.

“Dr. Woollam has been a staunch supporter of land acquisition projects all across Michigan, including our work at the Hall’s Lake Natural Area. We are grateful for this new support, and I am confident that we can meet this new challenge before the end date,” said CWC Executive Director Stan Lilley.

Now is the time to step up and make your contribution count for double. The sooner we meet our $240,000 goal, the sooner we can upgrade the trails at Bundy Hill and start offering new events and public access. When we are finished, the highest geologic point in Isabella County will be permanently preserved and open for quiet recreation.

If you would like to contribute online, there are multiple ways, including the Network for Good, PayPal, or Go Fund Me.

By the way, if we meet the Woollam Challenge quickly, your contribution may still be matched by the Isabella Bank $25,000 Challenge, or the Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation $20,000 Challenge.

June 30th will be here sooner than you think, so let’s show Dr. Woollam how important Bundy Hill is to our community now.
