Established in 2023, this approximately 8-acre parcel is a gift from the Gilbert and Kay Starks Family Trust. This preserve was established to provide habitat for pollinating insects such as bees and butterflies, small mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. The property is mostly covered with a wet meadow of grasses and wildflowers with scattered groupings of trees and shrubs. A group of old apple trees marks the location of an abandoned orchard. With several mowed trails running through the property it offers up a small oasis of nature to local residents and visitors alike.

The preserve is located on the east side of Bruder Drive on the north edge of the Greenwood Subdivision, off Bluegrass Road, approximately 1.1 miles west of Meridian Road. Park along the east side of Bruder Drive. The Hiawatha Hills, Neyer, and Meridian Road Preserves are nearby.
