Stan Lilley

Stan Lilley has been the Executive Director of the Chippewa Watershed Conservancy since 2004. He is an avid bird and butterfly watcher. When not serving in his official role at the conservancy, among his many volunteer activities, he is the compiler for the Mt. Pleasant Circle of the Audubon Christmas Bird Count, he has conducted seasonal calling frog surveys for the Michigan DNR since 2001 and he conducted surveys of breeding birds as part of the Michigan Breeding Bird Atlas II Project. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College (MO), and did graduate studies at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He retired from the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1994, after 26 years of service.
