Volunteer Work Session @ Mill Pond Natural Area

May 18 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us on Thursday May 18th at 5:30pm for an invasive species removal work session at Mill Pond Natural Area. We’re focusing on the removal of invasive trees and shrubs such as common buckthorn, honeysuckle, and Japanese barberry.
No experience is necessary to participate. We’ll provide tools and training.
Please be advised that access to this property is challenging because of the many dead and downed trees blocking routes in.
Parking for this event is at the east end of Chipp-A-Waters Park (1403 W. High St., Mt. Pleasant). The Natural Area is adjacent to the park.
