Stewardship Sunday at Audubon Woods Preserve

Autumn olive is an invasive species that spreads prolifically and crowds out native vegetation. The worst growth is along the south-facing roadside where ample sun allows the species to readily take hold.  Removal of these plants will hopefully promote increased diversity of native species.

We provide all necessary equipment – all you have to do is show up ready to work.
