Spring Mushrooms and Wildflowers @ Quigley Creek Natural Area

Quigley Creek is probably our most spectacular preserve when it comes to spring wildflowers. A diversity of habitat types and tree species also means that the property is home to a wide variety of fungal species. Participants will have the option to explore the woods with Mike in search of wildflowers or to explore on their own in search of mushrooms. The event will culminate with an identification of our findings. This will be our first of three scheduled mushroom hunts this spring. This event is free and open to the public.
