CWC Speaker Series: Michigan Mammals with Mike

Have you ever found a mystery skull or a set of footprints that you couldn’t identify? Participants in this program will learn how to identify a mammal’s diet based on its teeth and some tricks and techniques for identifying tracks. This hands-on program uses animal skins, skulls, and replica tracks to focus on the observable physical characteristics and adaptations of Michigan mammals that enable them to live in various Michigan environments, with a special focus on local animal species.
