Volunteer Opportunities

 

We frequently host opportunities to support the critical work we do. We have a variety of ways to get involved.

Current volunteer opportunities can be found at www.chippewawatershedconservancy.org/events. If you have a large group who would like to plan a close event, please contact us. Examples of common volunteer opportunities are listed below.

Preserve Management:

Trail construction and maintenance, sign installation,  trash pick-up, bird hose installation, trailhead maintenance, invasive species control and removal

Citizen Science:

Wildlife monitoring, ecosystem restoration / rehabilitation, preserve monitoring, easement monitoring

Recreation:

Lead an activity, organize an activity (bring your ideas to the table)

Outdoor Education:

Plan and lead environmental education hikes on the preserves
