Preserve Focus

Hiawatha Hills Preserve

5 acres in Deerfield Township, Isabella County, this preserve was established in 1996 and expanded in 2010 and 2011. The preserve protects 1,200 feet of scenic viewscapes along the Chippewa River and is a 100 percent wooded parcel used primarily by the residents of Hiawatha Hills west of Mount Pleasant.
