Hall’s Lake Owl Prowl

June 25, 2016 @ 9:30 pm

Here’s a fun way to spend an early summer evening. Join us at the Hall’s Lake Natural Area for an owl prowl! We know there are owls there, because we have occasionally encountered one while engaged in other activities. But we’ve never made a serious attempt to find them.

This is a free activity, but you must register in advance and we will limit the total number of participants to ten, so it’s first come, first served.

We will meet at 9:30 pm at the Neely Preserve area at the intersection of Old State and Broomfield Roads. This time of year it will still be light by then, but we should be fully prepared for the prowl by dark. You may bring a flashlight to help find your way on the trails.

So get your reservation in now. Shhh…..No talking!
