Creating Habitat with Native Plants

Join Isabella Conservation District Education Coordinator Mike LeValley for CREATING HABITAT WITH NATIVE PLANTS on Wednesday, March 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Library Annex, 301 S. University Avenue in Mount Pleasant.

Participants will learn how to work with native plants in creating landscapes beneficial to wildlife. Design and choice of plants for seasonal variety of food and shelter will be discussed, as well as plant hardiness to this zone. Choices are critical for migratory species as well as resident wildlife. Creating beneficial insect relationships to plantings are also key.
