Sue Ann Kopmeyer is the Director of the Isabella County Parks and Recreation Commission. She has served on the Chippewa Watershed Conservancy Board since 2000. Being part of both organizations allows her to work for the common goal of protecting our natural resources, open spaces, and parks.
Since she can remember, she has enjoyed the outdoors and appreciates everything that nature has to offer us. Bringing others “back” to nature by encouraging and providing opportunities to play in a park is truly what she enjoys doing. Working with the Chippewa Watershed Conservancy members, staff and other conservancy partners has been very educational and fulfilling. It has been a gift working with so many people wanting to make a positive impact on preserving land in our community.
